Job Description: Full-time (35 week open contract) faculty member within the Biblical and Theological Studies Department beginning the fall of 2017. Based on the individual’s specific education and experience, this position could include teaching courses in Practical Children’s, Family and Pastoral Ministry, Pentecostal Heritage, Pastoral Theology, Church Administration, Ministerial Practicum 1 & 2, Ministry Internship, and/or various Bible and Theology classes. The position also includes academic advising and other responsibilities within the College and Graduate School.

Job Qualifications & Requirements: • Masters or Doctorate in Children’s/Family Ministry or related field • Ministerial credentials in good standing with the Assemblies of God • Demonstrated experience in local church based ministry • Demonstrated expertise in teaching at the college level is preferred • Teaching and developing online and nontraditional courses is beneficial • Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work well with a diverse student population • Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality when working with students, records, and personnel • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment free of harassment, violence, and unlawful discrimination • Ability to communicate effectively, get along well with co-workers, and deal effectively and professionally with colleagues.
