Dr. Gary Seevers, President of Global University, and the Board of Administration have announced a zero dollar tuition increase in January 2015. This decision affects students across the university, including its Berean, undergraduate, and graduate levels.
This decision comes shortly after The College Board, a not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity, published its 2014 data showing an average 2.9% increase in tuition for in-state students across the nation. The report also showed that the average cost for tuition and fees at a private college is $31,231 and $9,139 for residents at public colleges. Global’s annual tuition and fee rate is currently set at $4,242.
“We are very excited to extend this offer to current and potential students alike,” Seevers said. “We see this decision as a way to increase access and decrease cost for the student, giving them the opportunity to avoid borrowing money and graduating debt free from Global.”
