The AGTrust Centennial Celebration will take place April 10-11, 2014, at First Assembly of God in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Assemblies of God, ministers and laity from around the nation will be able to go back to Hot Springs - where it all started.
The event begins on Thursday afternoon, April 10, and concludes around noon on April 11. Speakers will be Dr. George O. Wood, Dr. Greg Mundis, Dr. Alton Garrison, Wilfredo De Jesús, Rod Loy, Rob Ketterling and Aaron Cole. Event highlights include a gospel sing with Johnny Minick and the Goodman Revival.
"We're going back to Hot Springs, not simply to celebrate our Fellowship's first century, but to launch the start of our second century and pray for God's continued blessing on the Assemblies of God," says Dr. George O. Wood, AG general superintendent and AGTrust chairman.
To demonstrate dedication to ensuring a strong, healthy Assemblies of God for future generations, each delegate is asked to contribute $1,000 to the AGTrust Centennial Initiative to help train ministers, disciple youth, and strengthen and plant new churches. The AGTrust board has contributed generously to underwrite the Centennial Celebration so that every attendee's contribution will be designated 100 percent to benefit the Centennial Initiative.
