Faculty Conference

Tue, 30 Aug 2011 - 12:35 PM CST

AG Faculty ConferenceEach year, the Assemblies of God Executive Leadership and the Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education host a three-day conference for faculty members and administrators from the 16 AG colleges and universities. This conference provides faculty and administrators with the opportunity to network with colleagues from other AG schools, exchange ideas specific to their academic disciplines and highlight current topics in higher education. Disciplines from all of the colleges and universities are included on a three-year rotating schedule.

When: June 21-24

Where: Evangel University

Faculty from the Behavioral Sciences, Communications, Fine Arts, Humanities, Online Education, and Social Sciences department at our AG schools were brought together to meet new faculty members in their disiplines and share their knowledge with each other. Dr. Timothy Larsen, professor or theology and graduate theological studies at Wheaton College, shared his work on How Bible reading saves Western Civilization and Are Faith and Science in Conflict?

Prior to the conference, The Alliance for AG Higher Education asked each school to send us videos of student's appreciating the faculty for all the work they do. We would like to share the video with all the faculty across our schools. If you would like a copy of the video, please email
